A Richmond Hill, Ontario native, Jones was considered an all-around athlete in high school, participating in golf, baseball, basketball, soccer, rugby, lacrosse and volleyball. He excelled in hockey as a goalie, earning a spot on NCAA D3 national powerhouse team, Oswego State Lakers. After 4 straight 'final four' appearances and graduating with a degree in Psychology, Jones began his coaching career at SUNY Cortland while earning a masters in Exercise Science.

"As a goalie, sport psychology was always a big part of my game. I was lucky enough to have a coach at a young age who taught me how to use visualization and self-talk. Ever since, I have had a passion for learning about the mental aspects that effect athletic performance.

Today my passion lies in helping athletes reach their potential.

I believe that an athletes 'mental game' is the key to unlocking their athletic potential. Along with physical and technical practice, it is mental training that will make a good athlete great."
